Special Order made by the Council of the Borough of Foxton.

THE following special order, made by the Foxton Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Special Order.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and their amendments, and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £200, authorised to be raised by the Foxton Borough Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for completion and furnishing of the Council Chambers and public library, the said Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the rental value of the whole of the rateable property within the Borough of Foxton; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be due and payable in one sum on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above special order was made at a special meeting of the Foxton Borough Council held on the 22nd day of October, 1906, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 19th day of November, 1906.
