NOTE. — A dry month, with prevailing N.W. winds. Bright sunshine, 201 hours 38 minutes; two sunless days. Earth temperatures—1 ft., on 1st, 51·2°; on 31st, 57·8°; mean for month, 54·6°: 3 ft., on 1st, 52·5°; 31st, 56·5°: mean, 54·1°. Means—dew point, 45·2°; elastic force of vapour, ·302 in.; relative humidity, 70 per cent.
