hereby (by special order) resolve that, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,500, authorised to be raised by the said Council, under the said Acts and powers, for the repayment of a loan of £7,500, raised under the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” the said Dannevirke Borough Council hereby makes and levies (by special order) a special rate of 1s. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the borough; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off. And whereas in June, 1896, it was resolved that only so much of such special rate as was sufficient to provide such interest and other charges should be levied: Now, therefore, it is decided that so much of such special rate shall be levied year by year during the currency of the said loan as shall be sufficient to provide such interest and other charges.

FRANK G. MAGNUSSON,
Town Clerk.

Dated this 10th day of November, 1906.

And I hereby certify that the above special order was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the Council held on the 31st day of October, 1906.

Town Clerk.
