CITY OF NELSON.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Nelson City Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund and other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for gas-reticulation improvement, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said city as defined by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900”; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of October and the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Jesse Piper, Mayor of the City of Nelson, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a copy of a special order duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Nelson City Council held on the 10th day of September, 1906, and duly confirmed at a meeting of the said Nelson City Council held on the 8th day of October, 1906.

WAIROA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Wairoa County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorised to be raised by the Wairoa County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for improving the drainage, forming, metalling, and draining the streets, and kerbing and asphalting the footpaths in the Orangitirohia Block, Clyde Survey District, the said Wairoa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1⅜d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tynroa Special District, comprising the Orangitirohia and Awatere Blocks, Clyde Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following special order, made by the Westport Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WESTPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Westport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £9,300, authorised to be raised by the Westport Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for paying off maturing gasworks loans (less accumulated sinking funds), the said Westport Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1⅝d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Westport, as set out in the Proclamation creating the said borough in the New Zealand Gazette of the 17th day of April, 1873; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 3rd day of January and the 3rd day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Westport Borough Council held on the 11th day of September, 1906, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 10th day of October, 1906.
