the 25th day of September, 1906, the following extraordinary resolution was unanimously passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
And the said meeting thereupon appointed ALFRED HENRY GRAINGER, of Queen Street, Auckland, Manager of the said company, Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the above-mentioned company and distributing its assets.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the members of the above-mentioned company will be held on Tuesday, the 23rd day of October, 1906, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, at the North Canterbury Co-operative Stores Company (Limited) Board-room, for the purpose of laying the accounts of the Liquidator before the members, in pursuance of section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1903.”

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Waro Co-operative Coal Company (Limited), carrying on business in Auckland and at Hikurangi, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above company, duly convened, and held on the 20th day of September, 1906, at the office of Messrs. Winstone Limited, in the City of Auckland, the following special resolution was duly passed: “(a.) That the above-named company be wound up voluntarily. (b.) That Mr. FREDERICK BROCK WINSTONE, of Queen Street, Auckland, Merchant, and Mr. ARTHUR THOMAS BROWN, of Durham Lane, Auckland, Accountant, be appointed Liquidators, for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.” And which said resolution was duly confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting held for that purpose on the 4th day of October, 1906, at the office of Messrs. Winstone Limited aforesaid.

In the matter of “The Mercantile Law Act, 1880”; and of a Special Partnership between Jesse Stonham, Douglas Home Morrison, Ethelbert Wilfred Greg Rathbone, and Alfred Langley Plumbridge.
THIS is to certify, and it is hereby certified,—

That the said JESSE STONHAM, DOUGLAS HOME MORRISON, ETHELBERT WILFRED GREG RATHBONE, and ALFRED LANGLEY PLUMBRIDGE have this day entered into a Special Partnership, under the style or firm of “Stonham, Morrison, and Company.”

That the names and addresses of the general partners are Jesse Stonham, of Crescent Road, Parnell, Auckland; Douglas Home Morrison, of Epsom, Auckland; and Ethelbert Wilfred Greg Rathbone, of Gladstone Road, Parnell, Auckland, Journalist; and the name and address of the special partner is Alfred Langley Plumbridge, of Tauranga.

That the said Alfred Langley Plumbridge, as a special partner, has contributed the sum of £200 to the capital of the said partnership; and that the said Jesse Stonham, Douglas Home Morrison, and Ethelbert Wilfred Greg Rathbone, as general partners, have contributed respectively the sums of £100, £300, and £150 to the capital of the said partnership; and the said Jesse Stonham and Ethelbert Wilfred Greg Rathbone respectively agree to contribute further sums of £200 and £150 out of their respective shares of the first profits of the said partnership to the said partnership funds.

That the general nature of the business of the said partnership is that of exhibitors of cinematographic and phonochrom pictures, musical and vocal entertainers, and all kindred forms of entertainment and the business of general entertainers.

That the principal place of business of the said partnership shall be at Auckland, but the business will be conducted in all or any parts of the Colony of New Zealand that the general partners shall decide upon.

That the said partnership shall commence on the 1st day of July, 1906, and terminate on the 30th day of June, 1909.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road through Allotments 224, 230, and 234 of the Parish of Pakuranga, in the Provincial District of Auckland. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said lands is deposited in the office of the Turanga Road District, being the residence of the Clerk of the said district, at Whitford, and is there open for public inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work and by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Turanga Road District, at Whitford, in the Provincial District of Auckland.
