Native Land in Mimi Survey District taken for Historic Purposes.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of September, 1906.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Native land and is required to be taken for historic purposes:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The Public Works Act, 1905”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and “The Scenery Preservation Act, 1903,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for historic purposes as aforesaid; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the 27th day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Declaring Part of Okoke Road, in Clifton County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
OKOKE ROAD.
That part of the Okoke Road, in the Taranaki Land District, commencing from the south-west corner of Section 5, Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District, and proceeding thence in a general easterly direction for a distance of 110 chains, or thereabouts, along the frontage of the said Section 5 to within 12 chains, or thereabouts, of the homestead on Section 4, Block X, Upper Waitara; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 689, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Brewer-Taihore Road, Stratford County, a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of October, 1906.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
BREWER-TAIHORE ROAD.
That road known as the Brewer-Taihore Road, in the County of Stratford and in the Land District of Taranaki, from the junction with the Brewer Road at the north-west corner of Section 28, Block XV, Ngatimaru Survey District, and proceeding thence in a general south-westerly direction along frontages of or through Section 28 of Block XV, Section 7 of Block XVI, Section 27 and part of Section 26 of Block XV, all in Ngatimaru Survey District, for a distance of two miles and a quarter, or thereabouts, to junction with Taihore Road at western side of the said Section 26, Block XV, Ngatimaru Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 743, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon shown in red colour.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and three of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
