westerly, and southerly for a distance of about 2 miles 31 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., railway land, Sections 58, 9, 75, 8, 7, 6, and 12, Block VI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; Section 31 and railway land in irregular block—and terminating at a point in railway land marked 244 miles 35 chains on the railway mileage from Lyttelton, in Block II, Taieri Survey District: as the same is delineated on the aforesaid plan.

Closing Government Roads in Block XII, Glenkenich Survey District, Tuapeka County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, (a), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road, or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for the purpose of roads in Block XII, Glenkenich Survey District:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the roads in Block XII, Glenkenich Survey District, hereinafter described.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the seventy-third section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
Ruatiiti Block (18,500 Acres, approximate).
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing approximately 18,500 acres, situated in Blocks IV, VIII, and XII, Whirinaki Survey District, and Blocks I, V, and IX, Manganui Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55358/9, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation of the eighth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, in so far as it relates to the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and do declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said lands are hereby withdrawn from Tiniroto Village Settlement.
