Prescribing the Manner in which the Account under “The Agricultural and Pastoral Statistics Act, 1895,” shall be taken.—Notice No. 1055.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Agricultural and Pastoral Statistics Act, 1895,” I, Robert McNab, Minister for Agriculture, hereby prescribe that the account referred to in section 2 of the said Act shall be taken in the following manner, viz.:—
In the Counties of Akito, Castlepoint, Eketahuna, Mauriceville, Masterton, Wairarapa South, Featherston, Marlborough, Sounds, Waimea, Takaka, and Collingwood, in the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof, and in the adjacent islands, every owner and occupier of land, and every owner or person in charge of live-stock, shall fill up and post to the Enumerator for the district, so as to reach him not later than the 17th day of October, 1906, a return in the form to be obtained from the Enumerator.
In the remainder of the colony the collection of the returns shall be carried out by Sub-enumerators, and shall commence on the 15th day of October, and continue from day to day until the 10th day of November, 1906, unless sooner completed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Agricultural and Pastoral Statistics Act, 1895,” I, Robert McNab, Minister for Agriculture, hereby appoint the following officers of the Department of Agriculture to be Enumerators for the districts specified:—
CLIFTON, EDMUND, Inspector-in-Charge, Auckland,
the Counties of Mangonui, Whangaroa, Hokianga, Bay of Islands, Hobson, Whangarei, Otamatea, Rodney, Waitemata, Eden, Manukau, Coromandel, Thames, Ohinemuri, Raglan, Waikato, Waipa, Piako, Tauranga, Rotorua, Whakatane, Opotiki, Kawhia, Waitomo, Awakino, West Taupo, and East Taupo, the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof, also the adjacent islands;

the Counties of Waiapu, Cook, Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, Waipawa, Patangata, Weber, Woodville, and Pahiatua, also the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof;

the Counties of Clifton, Taranaki, Egmont, Stratford, Hawera, Patea, Waitotara, Wanganui, Waimarino, Rangitikei, Kiwitea, Pohangina, Manawatu, Oroua, Kairanga, and Horowhenua, also the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof;
JENKINSON, GEORGE HENRY, Inspector of Stock, Masterton,
the Counties of Mauriceville, Masterton, Castlepoint, Eketahuna, Akito, Wairarapa South, and Featherston, also the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof;

the Counties of Waitaki, Maniototo, Waihemo, Waikouaiti, Peninsula, Taieri, Tuapeka, Bruce, Clutha, Vincent, and Lake, also the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof;

the Counties of Southland, Wallace, Fiord, and Stewart Island, also the boroughs included within the boundaries thereof.

Notice of Intention to take Land for a Road through Rangiuru No. 3 Block, Maketu Survey District, Tauranga County.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through Rangiuru No. 3 Block, Block X, Maketu Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and of the land so required to be taken, is deposited in the Post-office at Maketu, and is there open for inspection. And notice is also given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 2 of “The Towns Main Streets Act, 1902,” I, Robert McNab, Minister of Lands, do hereby authorise the laying-off of the main street in the Township of Pakipaki, Hawke’s Bay Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft., instead of 99 ft. as prescribed by section 17 of “The Land Act, 1892.”
