THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
[No. 80

(2.) Cease to use or occupy the said wharf for a period of thirty days;
(3.) Fail to pay the sums specified in clause three of these conditions; or
(4.) Become bankrupt, or be in any manner brought under the operation of any law in force for the time being relating to bankruptcy,

then and in any of the said cases this Order in Council, and every right, power, or privilege, may be revoked and determined by the Governor in Council without any notice to the licensee or other proceeding whatsoever; and publication in the New Zealand Gazette of an Order in Council containing such revocation shall be sufficient notice to the licensee, and to all persons concerned or interested, that this Order in Council, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred, have been revoked and determined; and upon such revocation the Minister may cause the said wharf to be removed, and may recover the cost incurred by any such removal from the licensee.

  1. The construction of the wharf shall be deemed to be an acceptance by the licensee of the conditions of this Order in Council.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Wellington Land District.


PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of September, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve heretofore duly set apart for municipal purposes, being a reserve within Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881”:

And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for a site for Council offices of the Waimarino County Council, being a reserve within the said Class I:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that the said land shall, from and after the date hereof, be appropriated for a site for Council offices of the Waimarino County Council under Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881.”


SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 106, Block X, Raetihi Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Ohakune Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 107, Block X, Raetihi Township; towards the south-west by Section No. 109 of the said Block X; and towards the north-west by Section No. 105 of the said Block X: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 37787/34, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Volunteer Regulations amended.


PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Defence Act, 1886,” and “The Defence Act Amendment Act, 1900,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto such of the General Regulations of the Defence Force of New Zealand, made on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date, as are set forth in the said Schedule. And

I do hereby declare that such amended regulations shall come into force on the fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and six.


SCHEDULE.

REGULATION 483.—After word “Officer,” on fourth line, add “when the practice forms part of the annual course of class-firing.”

After “N.C.O.,” on fourth line, add “on other occasions.”

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Taranaki Land District.


PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.


SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2 of Tatu Village Suburban (Block XIII, Ohura Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Paorae Stream and by the Heao Stream; towards the east by the Heao Stream; towards the south by Section No. 5, Tatu Village Suburban, 769 links; towards the west by Section No. 5 aforesaid, 813·4 links; and towards the north-west by railway reserve and Waro Road, 920·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55585A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres and 16 perches, more or less, being Section No. 35, Town of Mangaroa (Block V, Ohura Survey District). Bounded towards the north by Hihi Street, 1000 links; towards the east by Huia Street, 1010 links; towards the south by a street, 500 links; again towards the east by a street, 200 links; and again towards the south by Sections Nos. 28 and 27, Town of Mangaroa, 500 links; towards the west by Section No. 34, Town of Mangaroa, and a street, 1210 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55585B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and six.
