Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Declaring Roads in Tuapeka County to be Government Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of September, 1906.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be Government roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of September, 1906.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street, by resolution, declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas the Council of the County of Bruce, the local authority having control of the road described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” shall not apply to the said road: And whereas such resolution was in the following terms:—
