A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners and mortgagee of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Otamatea County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands in Matakoe Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first hereinbefore proclaimed.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Amending the Description of a State Forest Reserve in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and six, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 43, of the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and six, an area of one thousand two hundred and ninety-two acres of land, situated in Block II, Whangaroa Survey District, Auckland Land District, was set apart as and for a State forest under the provisions of “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885”:
And whereas an error was made in the description of the boundaries of the said land, and it is expedient to amend the said Proclamation in so far as it relates to the parcel of land containing one thousand two hundred and ninety-two acres, situated in Block II, Whangaroa Survey District, Auckland Land District, aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby amend the said Proclamation in so far as it relates to the parcel of land containing one thousand two hundred and ninety-two acres, situated in Block II, Whangaroa Survey District, Auckland Land District, and do declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be the land set apart as and for a State forest intended by the said Proclamation.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,299 acres, more or less, situated in Whakapaku Parish, Block II, Whangaroa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 9 and 5, Whakapaku Parish, Block II, Whangaroa Survey District, and by a right line in continuation in an easterly direction of the southern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to the Taupo Block; towards the east by the said Taupo Block; towards the south generally by the Wairakau River, by Section No. 25 of Whakapaku Parish, and by the southern boundary-line of Block II, Whangaroa Survey District; and towards the west by the western boundary-line of Block II of the said district: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55239/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Resuming Land held under Lease in Perpetuity for the Purpose of a Cemetery.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and twenty-five of “The Land Act, 1892” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor in Council may, by Proclamation, resume possession of any land leased under Part III of the said Act which in his opinion is required for any public purpose:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land which is held on lease in perpetuity from His Majesty the King under Part III of the said Act, dated the eighteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three: And whereas in the opinion of the Governor the land described in the Schedule hereto is required for a public purpose—that is to say, for a public cemetery:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and twenty-five of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby proclaim and declare that I hereby resume possession of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the public purpose hereinbefore mentioned, the same being part of the land as held under lease as aforesaid; and do also hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and six.
