Special Order made by the Pyramid Block Drainage Board.

PYRAMID BLOCK DRAINAGE BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Pyramid Block Drainage Board held on the 6th day of June, 1906, the said Board resolved that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the Pyramid Block Drainage Board resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,050, authorised to be raised by the Pyramid Block Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction of a water-course or drain in the district for the drainage of such district, and the expenses of such undertaking in connection therewith as are authorised by law, the said Pyramid Block Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Pyramid Block Drainage District comprised within the boundaries of the said district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of October and the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
And notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the said Pyramid Block Drainage Board held on the 12th day of July, 1906, the above resolution was duly confirmed.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Water-supply Act, 1891," and its amendments, and " The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and its amendments, and of any other powers thereunto enabling it, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,500, authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council, under the provisions of " The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," for the purpose of constructing and maintaining water-races for the supply of water to the inhabitants of the Northcote Water-supply District, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said Northcote Water-supply District, comprising all that area in the Provincial District of Auckland bounded towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 94 of Section No. 1 of the Parish of Takapuna, the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 48, and the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 49 and 50 of said Section No. 1 to Shoal Bay ; towards the east generally by Shoal Bay to Stokes Point ; towards the south-west by the Waitemata Harbour to the south-western angle of Allotment No. 55, also of Section No. 1 of the Parish of Takapuna aforesaid ; towards the west generally by the western boundary of Allotment No. 55, the crossing of a road-line 100 links wide, part of the southern, the western, and the northern boundaries of Allotment No. 7, the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 8 and 9, the crossing of another road of width aforesaid, and the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 96 to its western angle ; and towards the north-west by the north-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 96, 95, and 94 to the place of commencement : and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off : and that this special order take effect on the fourteenth day of September, 1906.
I, John Henry O'Neill, Chairman of the Waitemata County Council, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a special order made by the Waitemata County Council on the 3rd day of August, 1906, and confirmed on the 31st day of August, 1906.

THE following special order, made by the Rangitikei County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901."

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate. — Loan of £700, Brandon Hall.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Counties Act, 1886," and "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," the Rangitikei County Council doth hereby resolve as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £700, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," for the purpose of constructing a bridge over the Tutaenui Stream on the Brandon Hall Road, and metalling about 80 chains of the said Brandon Hall Road, commencing at its junction with the Bull's-Scott's Ferry Road, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Brandon Hall Special-rating District, comprising Sections 1 to 5 inclusive, 5A, and 6 to 12 inclusive, and the gravel reserve contained in Section 2 of the Brandon Hall Estate, as shown on plans numbered 1754 and 1755, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Wellington, and containing in the aggregate 8,881 acres 1 rood 15 perches ; also Sections 1 to 23 inclusive, and the gravel reserve contained in Section 21 of the Brandon Hall Estate Suburban, as shown on plan numbered 1753, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Wellington, and containing in the aggregate 255 acres 2 roods 20 perches ; all the said lands being situate within Blocks 4 and 5, Koitiata Survey District, and Blocks 5, 9, 10, and 11, Rangitoto Survey District : and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum.
I, Reginald Edward Beckett, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 4th day of August, 1906, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Rangitikei County Council held on the 1st day of September, 1906.
In testimony whereof the common seal of the Rangitikei County Council has been hereunto affixed.
