above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vemor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony. at the Government House, at Wellington,
this seventh day of September, in the year of
our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

PLUNKET, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to
take further land in the Borough of Dunedin, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said
railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of " The Public Works
Act, 1905," and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.
ERRATUM.-Denniston Electric Lights, Westport: In Notice to Mariners No. 67 of 1906, and published in New
Zealand Gazette No. 75. page 2305, for "from northern extreme to Westport Breakwater " read "from northern
extreme of Westport Breakwater."
