NOTICE OF INTENTION TO INTRODUCE A PRIVATE BILL.
A Bill intituled “The Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Act,” to enable the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland to sell and dispose of certain land, being part of Allotment 15 of Section 8 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and that piece of land on the north-east boundary thereof containing 2 roods 2 perches.
THE Right Reverend George Michael Lenihan, Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, hereby gives notice that he proposes to introduce into the General Assembly at the forthcoming session a private Bill intituled as above. The object sought to be effected by the said Bill is to enable the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland to sell and dispose of the said land to the Auckland Gas Company (Limited) for the sum of eight thousand pounds, and to expend the said sum in the erection of substantial orphanage and educational buildings upon certain land at Takapuna, near Auckland, vested in the said Bishop in trust for purposes similar to those upon which the land above described is now held by him. Notice is further given that a petition signed by the said Bishop, together with a copy of the said Bill, will be deposited in the Examiner’s Office, Wellington, not later than fourteen days after the commencement of the said session.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership Business as Carriers hitherto carried on by JOHN O’BRIEN, HENRY PETTIT, and CYRIL RUSSELL MORRIS, under the style or firm of “J. O’Brien and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of January, 1906, so far as concerns the said Cyril Russell Morris, who has retired from the partnership.
The business will in future be carried on under the same style by John O’Brien and Henry Pettit, by whom all debts owing by the late firm will be discharged, and to whom all moneys owing to the late firm must be paid.
