And whereas the Wakanui Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the roads described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the Wakanui Road Board closing the roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of June, 1906.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, (a), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:
And whereas the Little River Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the Little River Road Board closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Part of Kaweka Road, Rangitikei County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
KAWEKA ROAD.
ALL that portion of the road in the Wellington Land District, Rangitikei County, known as the Kaweka Road, commencing at a point 1 mile 3 chains from its junction with the Mangaweka–Te Kapua Road, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction along part frontage of Section 14 and part frontage of Section 13, Block V, Hautapu Survey District, terminating about midway along frontage of Section 13, Block V, Hautapu Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 23 chains or thereabouts; as the said road is more particularly delineated on Plan R. 6300, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, thereon coloured red, and marked AB.
