AKAROA ROAD.
All that road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Akaroa Road, commencing at its junction with that portion of the said road at the south-western corner of the boundary-line between Sections 17 and 18, Block X, Mount Cerberus Survey District, and proceeding thence generally south-easterly to a point opposite the boundary-line of Sections 21 and 22, Block X, Mount Cerberus Survey District, a distance of 1 mile 5 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 7664, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and marked EF, and tinted red thereon.
MAKOURA ROAD.
All that road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Makoura Road, commencing at its junction with the Waihoki Valley Road, near the south-eastern corner of Section 1, Block VIII, Puketoi Survey District, and proceeding thence generally southerly until it crosses the boundary-line of Sections 222 and 16, 953·5 links from the most easterly corner of said Section 222, a distance of 1 mile 50 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 7664A, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and marked XZ, and tinted yellow thereon.
RAKAUNUI–MAKURI ROAD.
All that road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Rakaunui–Makuri Road, commencing at its junction with the Alfredton–Weber Road, about the middle of the north-western boundary of Section 19 and the south-eastern portion of the Section 24, Rakaunui Village Settlement, situated in Block I, Aohanga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally north-westerly until it junctions with the Makuri–Pongaroa Road at the most northerly portion of Section 3, Block IV, Puketoi Survey District, a distance of 5 miles 6·80 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 7664A, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and marked GF, and tinted green thereon.
HUIA ROAD.
All that road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Huia Road, commencing at its junction with the Alfredton–Weber Road, near the most western corner of Section 30, Block V, Aohanga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally easterly to its junction with the Waihoki Road at the north-eastern corner of Section 13, Block V, Aohanga Survey District, a distance of 3 miles 4·95 links, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 7664B, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and marked YZ, and tinted red thereon.
WAIKERERU ROAD.
All that road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Waikereru Road, commencing at its junction with the Waihoki and Huia Roads, in the north-western corner of Section 17, Block V, Aohanga Survey District, and proceeding thence generally easterly and south-easterly to its junction with the Wai-o-waka and Spur Roads, in the north-west corner of Section 20, Block VI, Aohanga Survey District, a distance of 4 miles, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 7664B, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and marked ZA, and tinted blue thereon.

Declaring McNaughton’s Road, in Masterton County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of April, 1906.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the road in Masterton County described in the Schedule below shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
All that portion of the road in the Wellington Land District, Masterton County, known as McNaughton’s Road, commencing at its junction with the Fernyhurst Road, within Section 82, near the boundary of Sections 71 and 82, Block IX, Rewa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally easterly for a distance of three miles, or thereabouts, until it intersects the section-line between Section 672 and the Small Grazing-run No. 51, Block X, Rewa Survey District; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked R. 999, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green, and lettered AB.

“The Education Act, 1904.”—District High School Fees.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of April, 1906.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Education Act, 1904,” the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the colony, doth hereby revoke all regulations heretofore made under the authority of “The Education Act, 1877,” prescribing fees payable at district high schools, and in like manner doth also revoke the regulations relating to district high schools made by the Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two, and in lieu thereof doth make the regulations set forth in the Schedule hereto; and, with the like advice and consent, doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six.
SCHEDULE.

The fees payable by pupils in the secondary department of any district high school shall be as follows:—
(i.) For holders of free places under the Act, nil;
(ii.) For all pupils other than holders of free places under the Act, ten shillings a quarter. -
These fees shall be payable in advance to the Education Board.

Drawback of Duty on Goods exported from New Zealand.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of April, 1906.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section nine of “The Customs Duties Consolidation Act, 1882,” and section nine of “The Customs and Excise Duties Act, 1888,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke, as on and from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six, all Orders in Council made under the above-recited sections with respect to drawback of duty on goods exported from New Zealand, and in lieu thereof doth order that on and after the said first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six, there shall be allowed on all goods exported from New Zealand (except as otherwise specified in this Order in Council) a drawback of duty as set forth hereunder, viz.:—
