be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by
Order in Council gazetted is obtained :

And whereas the Rangitata Road Board has applied for
such consent in respect to the portions of the roads described
in the Schedule hereto :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the
above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said colony, doth hereby consent to the closing the roads
mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twelfth
day of January, 1906.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRE-
SIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, (a),
of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted
that a local authority shall not declare any county or dis-
trict road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed
to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor
by Order in Council gazetted is obtained :

And whereas the Patangata County Council has applied
for such consent in respect to the road described in the
Schedule hereto :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-
in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby consent to the Patangata County
Council closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth sec-
tion of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or par-
ticular description, and whether the same has been sur-
veyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding
that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale
the land in the Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 11
(Te Kuiti Village Settlement), Block III., Otanake Survey
District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 12
(Te Kuiti Village Settlement), Block III., Otanake Survey
District; towards the south-east by a public road; towards
the south-west by Section No. 10 of Block III. aforesaid;
and towards the north-west by Section No. 8 of the afore-
said Block III.: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 42821/72, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For
public utility.
