Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Portion of
a Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” it is,
amongst other things, enacted that the Governor
may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication
of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty
or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II
of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted
or not ; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part
thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it
was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by
notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change,
and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which
the same is intended to be so made:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in
exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” aforesaid,
declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the
portion of the reserve described in the second column of the
Schedule hereto from that named in the first column of the
said Schedule to that named in the third column of the said
Schedule respectively.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Block V,
Tiriraukawa Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of a reserve heretofore duly set apart
for the deposit of road material, being a reserve within
Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and such
land has not been vested in trust in any society, body
corporate, or trustees:

And whereas it is expedient that such reserve shall be
appropriated for a site for a public school, being a reserve
within Class III of the aforesaid Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the second section
of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” do by
this notification declare that the said reserve shall, from
and after the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine
hundred and six, be appropriated for a site for a public
school under Class III of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881”;
and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be pub-
lished in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 21 perches, more or less, being part of

Reserve No. 21, Block V, Tiriraukawa Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-east and towards the south-east
by Section No. 2, Block V, Tiriraukawa Survey District;
and towards the north-west by the Turakina Valley Road:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
55051/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and six.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Wellington.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
was heretofore duly set apart for public buildings
of the General Government, being a reserve within Class II
of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and such land has not
been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trus-
tees:

And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be
appropriated for a site for a public-school teacher's resi-
dence, being a reserve within Class III of the aforesaid
Act :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” do
by this notification declare that the said land shall, from
and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred
and six, be appropriated for a site for a public-school
teacher's residence under Class III of "The Public Re-
serves Act, 1881”; and I do hereby direct that this notifi-
cation shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Sections
Nos. 1, 2, and 3, Block VII, Town of Scarborough; as the
same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55030, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and six.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or parti-
cular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands
in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule
hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule
specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the
lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 26,
Waharoa Township. Bounded towards the north-west by
Duncan Street; towards the north-east by Section No. 10A,
Block XIII, Wairere Survey District; towards the south-
east by McGowan Street; and towards the south-west by
Mills Street. For public recreation.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 27, Waharoa Township. Bounded towards the
north-west by McGowan Street; towards the north-east by
Section No. 10A, Block XIII, Wairere Survey District;
