Additional Land in Winton Hundred taken for the Purposes of the Line of Railway known as the Forest Hill Tramway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the line of railway known as the Forest Hill Tramway to take further land in Winton Hundred, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder :—

In the Land District of Southland; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 14026, deposited in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Land taken for the Purposes of the Aramoho–Wanganui Deviation of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for the Aramoho-Wanganui deviation of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway: And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purpose hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 21870, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured purple, green, and yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.
