of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent
of the owner of the land mentioned in the First Schedule
hereto, and of the Manchester Road Board, being the local
authority in whose district the said land is situated, pro-
claim as a road the land in Rangitoto Survey District
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby,
with the like consents as aforesaid, and of the mortgagees,
proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first
hereinbefore proclaimed.

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured
as above mentioned, deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His
Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-fourth day of February, in the year
of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Closing a Government Road in Block VI, Alford Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three,
(c), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted
that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified,
stop or alter the course of any Government road, or any part
thereof: And whereas the Government road described in
the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of
a road in Block VI, Alford Survey District:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the
above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as
stopped the road in Block VI, Alford Survey District,
hereinafter described.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of
“The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim and declare that the allotments of Crown lands re-
spectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease
as a village settlement.
