clamation the watercourses the name, locality, and description whereof are set forth in the Schedule hereto to be watercourses into which may be discharged any tailings, débris, and waste water produced by or resulting from mining operations carried on under the said Act.
Any person who objects to such Proclamation being made, or whose land, or riparian or other rights in respect of such land, will be damaged or injuriously affected by the operation thereof, is required to serve on the Minister of Mines, within the period of ninety days after the publication hereof in the Gazette, full particulars of such objection, and also a claim in the prescribed form setting forth full particulars of all compensation that will be claimed by him in the event of such Proclamation being made.
No person will be entitled to any compensation for damage or injury consequent on the operation of such Proclamation unless his claim is duly served in the manner and within the period aforesaid.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
THAT stream known as Stony Creek, in the Nelson Land District, which flows westerly from its source in Block X, Ngakawau Survey District, for a distance of about five miles to its confluence with Jones’s Creek; and also the several tributaries thereof.
That stream known as Jones’s Creek, in the Nelson Land District, which flows south-westerly from its confluence with Stony Creek, in Block II, Kawatiri Survey District, for a distance of about a mile to the sea.
Dated at Wellington, this thirteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Section No. 28, Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 18, Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District; towards the south-east by Section No. 19 of the said Block VI; towards the south-west by Section No. 26 of the said Block VI and by the Mangamahoe Road; and towards the north-west by Section No. 47 of Block VI aforesaid. For an agricultural and stock reserve.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Section No. 42, Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 45 and 18 of Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District; towards the south-east by the said Section No. 18; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 47 and 41 of the said Block VI; and towards the north-west by a public road. For a recreation reserve.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, being Section No. 45, Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east and towards the south-east by Section No. 18 of Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District; towards the south-west by Section No. 42 of the said Block VI, and by the abutment of a public road; and towards the north-west by Section No. 44 of Block VI aforesaid. For a public cemetery.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less, being Section No. 47, Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 42,
Block VI, Tiriraukawa Survey District; towards the south-east by Section No. 28 of the said Block VI; towards the south-west generally by the Mangamahoe Road and by Sections Nos. 29, 30, 31, and 32 of the said Block VI; and towards the north-west by Section No. 41 of Block VI aforesaid. For roadmen’s huts.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 54860/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Bounded towards the west and towards the north by Section No. 30 (Pareora No. 2 Settlement), Block XII, Otaio Survey District; towards the east by the Homestead Road; and towards the south by Section No. 37 of the said settlement and block. For a plantation reserve.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 22 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3508, in red (Pareora No. 2 Settlement), Block XII, Otaio Survey District. Bounded by a road-line commencing at a point on the west side of Talbot’s Road (the said point being distant 1904·2 links in a south-westerly direction from the junction of the said side of the said road with the southern side of the Pleasant Valley Road), and proceeding thence south-westerly along the said Talbot’s Road and a line bounding Section No. 25 (Pareora No. 2 Settlement), Block XII, Otaio Survey District, a distance of 4983·3 links; thence north-westerly, north-easterly, and south-easterly by lines bounding the said Section No. 25, with distances respectively of 420, 5009·5, and 484·5 links, to the point of commencement. For a plantation reserve.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3512, in red (Pareora No. 2 Settlement), Block XI, Otaio Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the Bluecliffs Road, a distance of 1613 links; towards the east by Section No. 52 (deposit plan No. 442), Block XI, Otaio Survey District, a distance of 388·5 links; and towards the south by a stream. For a plantation reserve.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19215/195, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
