Altering the Boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Rabbit District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this second day of February, 1906.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1886” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”) it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council, alter and redefine the boundaries of any district constituted under the said Act: And whereas the district known as “The Hawke’s Bay Rabbit District” has been constituted under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and it is expedient to alter the boundaries of the same in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby alter and redefine the boundaries of the said Hawke’s Bay Rabbit District so constituted as aforesaid, and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto, and that the name of the said district, and the Board of Trustees acting for such district, shall continue as at present existing, subject to the provisions of the said Act; and, further, that this Order in Council shall take effect from the date of the gazetting hereof.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Colony of New Zealand comprising that portion of the County of Wairoa bounded as follows, viz.: Commencing at Te Ngaru; thence by the sea northward to the mouth of the Mohaka River; thence by the Mohaka River to its intersection with the south boundary of the Wairoa County; thence by said county-boundary to the point of commencement: together with the Counties of Hawke’s Bay, Waipawa, Patangata, Woodville, and Weber; and including also those parts of Sections 1 (Education Reserve), 2, and 4, Makuri Survey District, Pahiatua County, the boundaries of which parts are more particularly set forth on plan marked L.S. 92/327, and deposited at the office of the Department of Agriculture, Wellington.

Changing the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this second day of February, 1906.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve heretofore set apart for cemetery purposes, being a reserve within Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881”:
And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for drainage purposes, being a reserve within the said Class I:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that the said land shall, from and after the date hereof, be appropriated for drainage purposes under Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881.”
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less, being portion of Reserve No. 180, Moa District, Block IV, Egmont Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Subdivision No. 6 of Section No. 179, Moa District, Block IV, Egmont Survey District; towards the east by the Kurapete Stream; towards the south by the other portion of Reserve No. 180, Moa District aforesaid; and towards the west by Wortley Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 50479/16, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Extension of Time for Confirmation of Special Order, Waimate County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of February, 1906.

WHEREAS the Waimate County Council, at a meeting held on the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and five, passed a resolution making a certain special order appointing a member of the Lower Waihao Water Committee of Management: And whereas the said resolution was not confirmed within the time prescribed by “The Counties Act Amendment Act, 1903,” and it is expedient to extend the said time as hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the time within which the aforesaid resolution may be confirmed to the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Regulations for Deer-shooting, County of Hawke’s Bay.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of February, 1906.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE R. J. SEDDON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same (hereinafter called “the said Acts), His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulations respecting the deer-shooting season within the County of Hawke’s Bay (hereinafter called “the said district”).
REGULATIONS.

RED deer (stags only) may be taken or killed within the said district from the 20th day of March, 1906, to the 30th day of April, 1906, both days inclusive.

Licenses to kill such deer may be issued by the Chief Postmaster at Napier, on payment of a license fee of five pounds, in the form prescribed in the Schedule hereto, and subject to the said Acts and these regulations.

No licensee shall be allowed to take or kill more than two stags, and no stag shall be killed carrying antlers with less than ten points; and, further, the said Chief Postmaster shall not issue more than one license to take or kill deer to the same person.

No hind or fawn will be allowed to be killed on any pretext whatever, and no dogs will be allowed to accompany either the licensee or any attendant he may have with him.
