NOTICE is hereby given that the above company has appointed ALEXANDER WILLIE RODGER, Jun., its Attorney in New Zealand. And notice is hereby also given that the Office where the business of the company will hereafter be carried on is situate at Birchwood, Nightcaps, Southland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the SCOTTISH AND NEW ZEALAND INVESTMENT COMPANY (LIMITED) intends voluntarily to cease to carry on business in any part of New Zealand as from the date hereof.

I, Joseph Stock, of Invercargill, in the Colony of New Zealand, Gentleman, do solemnly and sincerely declare—

That I am one of the members of the Advising Board in and for New Zealand of the directors of the Scottish and New Zealand Investment Company (Limited).

That by virtue of a certain power of attorney, bearing date the third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and four, under the common seal of the said company, two or more members of the said Advising Board are appointed the attorneys of the said company to execute all deeds and documents on behalf of the said company; and that William Panton Grigor, of Invercargill aforesaid, Gentleman, and I, the said Joseph Stock, two members of the said Advising Board, have signed and sealed the above notice by virtue thereof.

That I have not, and I verily believe that the other members of the said Board have not, received any notice or information of the revocation of the said power of attorney, or of the winding-up or dissolution of the said company. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”
Declared at Invercargill aforesaid, this twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and six, before me—G. W. Nichol, a Justice of the Peace for the Colony of New Zealand.
