Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of December, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserve shall hereafter form part of Mangaweka Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres and 39 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block II, Town of Mangaweka, and Sections 55, 56, and 57, Suburbs of Mangaweka. Bounded towards the north-west by the Marton–Tokaanu Road; towards the east by Sections Nos. 58 and 60, Suburbs of Mangaweka; towards the south by Kakariki Street; and towards the west by Section No. 2, Block II, Town of Mangaweka, and Section No. 54, Suburbs of Mangaweka: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 40039D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting Reserves in the Kiwitea County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of December, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto have been permanently reserved for the respective purposes stated in the said Schedule:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Kiwitea County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Kiwitea County, in trust, as reserves for the respective purposes specified in the last column of the said Schedule.

Authorising the Exchange of a Reserve in Auckland Land District for other Land.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of December, 1906.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto was permanently reserved for an endowment for primary education: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that described in the second column of the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and the third section of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” doth hereby declare that the said reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

Description of Reserve authorised to be exchanged. Description of Land to be obtained in Exchange therefor.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, being Allotment No. 391 of the Village of Grahamtown. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 780 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 1075 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 780 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1075 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56148, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple. All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Allotments Nos. 342, 343, 344, 346, 350, 351, 352, and 353 of the Village of Grahamtown. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 160 links; towards the east and again towards the north by Allotment No. 345 of the Village of Grahamtown, 330 and 533 links respectively; again towards the east by a public road, 600 links; towards the south by Allotments Nos. 341 and 340 of the village aforesaid, 515 links; towards the south-east by Allotment No. 340 aforesaid, and Allotments Nos. 339, 338, 337, and 336 of the said village, 920 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 690 links; towards the north-west by Allotment No. 349, 598 links; towards the north-east by Allotments Nos. 348 and 347 of the village aforesaid, 400 links; and towards the west by Allotment No. 347 aforesaid, 670 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56148, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
