Now, therefore, I, the Clerk of the said Road Board, by the authority and on behalf of the said Road Board, do hereby license the said to be used on roads within the Heathcote Road District for the period of one year from the date hereof, and no longer, subject to the said by-laws and to such other by-laws as may from time to time be in force within the said road district.

These by-laws shall come into force within the district as soon as they shall have been gazetted.
The seal of the inhabitants of the Heathcote Road Board District was affixed to this special order and by-law, this 18th day of October, 1905.

MOUNT WELLINGTON ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
In pursuance of the powers vested in the said Mount Wellington Road Board by “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and any other statutory provisions the said Board thereunto enabling, the Mount Wellington Road Board doth hereby ordain as follows:—
-
That the Mount Wellington Road District be divided into two subdivisions—No. 1 to be called “Ellerslie,” and bounded as follows: Commencing at the Harp of Erin Inn; thence towards the north-west by the Remuera Road District, and Section No. 12A, Parish of Waitemata, Otahuhu Survey District; thence towards the north-east by Section No. 26A of the said parish; thence towards the south-east by the College Road, the crossing of the Panmure and Howick Road, and Sections No. 28 and No. 33 of the said parish; thence towards the south by the southern boundary of Section No. 17 of the said parish to the Great South Road; thence towards the south-west by the Great South Road to the point of commencement.

That the number of members for such subdivision be three.

That Subdivision No. 2, to be called “Mount Wellington,” is bounded as follows: Commencing at the middle of the College Road at a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 26A, Parish of Waitemata, Otahuhu Survey District; thence towards the north-west by a line along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 49 and part 50, Parish of Waitemata aforesaid; thence again towards the north-east by a right line to and thence by the south-western boundary-line of Sections Nos. 49 and part 50 aforesaid to the southernmost corner of the latter section; thence towards the north-west generally by the north-western part of Section 50 and by Section 57 of the said parish; thence across the Scoria Reserve Road by a right line to and thence by Section No. 44; thence across a road, and by Section No. 39, Parish of Waitemata aforesaid, to the Tamaki River; thence towards the east and south-east by the Tamaki River aforesaid; thence towards the south by Manukau County; thence towards the west by Manukau Harbour and Hamlin’s Creek to the Great South Road; thence by a right line across the Great South Road aforesaid; thence towards the south-west by the Great South Road aforesaid to the southernmost corner of Section No. 17, Parish of Waitemata aforesaid; thence towards the north-west and south-west by Section No. 17 aforesaid; thence again towards the north-west by part Section No. 27 of the same parish to the Panmure Road; thence across the said road; thence towards the north-west by other part of said Section No. 27 and Section No. 26 of the same parish; and thence by a right line to the point of commencement: excepting from the above-described area the land and highways comprised within the boundaries of the Township of Panmure, excepting so much of the main road called or known by the name of the Panmure and Howick Road as traverses the said township.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Counties Act, 1886,” for the purpose of forming and metalling portions of the Tuakau–Raglan Road, the original loan of £4,000 being insufficient to complete the work, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Special-rating District of Onewhero, boundaries of which are as follows—Commencing at a point where the northern boundary-line of Section 21, Block VIII., Maioro Survey District, intersects the coastline; thence north-east, following south bank of Waikato River, to road-line adjoining Section 95, Onewhero Parish; thence southerly, following eastern boundaries of Sections 95, 96, 166, 149; thence along northern lines of Sections 150, 156, to road-line, and following said road-line to eastern line of Section 157; thence southerly along eastern boundary-lines of Sections 157, 33, 22, and Opuatia No. 4; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Opuatia No. 4 and No. 5c to eastern line of Section 90; thence south-west along said line to road-line, following said road-line south and west to south-east corner of Section 98; thence following southern boundary of Section 98 to eastern boundary of Section 109 to intersection of Putataka Parish line; thence northerly along said road to road-line; thence along road-line along southern boundaries of Putataka Nos. 1A, 1B, and 1C to southern boundary-line of Section 27, following said line, and along northern boundary of Section 21 to point of commencement: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, to be payable half-yearly
