A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owner of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Puhoi Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands in Waiwera Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first hereinbefore proclaimed.

Lands taken for widening Main South Road, Hillside Road, and David Street, in the City of Dunedin.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, the widening of streets in the City of Dunedin, known as Main South Road, Hillside Road, and David Street, in pursuance of powers granted by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900”:

And whereas the Council of the City of Dunedin has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by “The Public Works Act, 1894”:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purpose of widening the said streets, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin.
