NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above company held at Whetukura, Hawke’s Bay, on the 11th October, 1905, the following resolution was passed: “That this company be wound up voluntarily”; and at a subsequent general meeting on the 1st November, 1905, this resolution was confirmed.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” “The Tramways Act, 1894,” “The Wellington City Empowering Act, 1897,” “The Wellington City Empowering Act, 1899,” and “The Public Works Act, 1905.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the extension of Willis Street for the purpose of constructing a tramway thereon—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule below is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given (1) that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned GEORGE ROBERT WILSON and ALEXANDER JOSEPH HARRIS, the Younger, carrying on business as Auctioneers, Land and General Commission Agents, at Princes Street, Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Alex. Harris and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent from the 1st day of October, 1905; (2) that the said business will be carried on at the said address, under the style or firm of “Alex. Harris and Co.,” by the said ALEXANDER JOSEPH HARRIS, the Younger, who will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities of the said late firm and receive all moneys due thereto.

I, ARTHUR ANDERSON STEWART, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Glasgow), 1905, and now residing in Lawrence, do hereby give notice that I intend to apply on the 2nd day of December, 1905, to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualifications at the office of the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The best age for entrance is between six and seven.
The full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.
