THE following special order, made by the Waimarino County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Rangitaua No. 1.—Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £200, authorised to be raised by the Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of crowning-up, formation, and metalling from end of present metal to junction of Koroporutuku and Rata Maire Roads, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of the Rangitaua No. 1 Special-rating District, comprising Sections 8, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 9, 10, 16, 17, Block VIII., Makotuku; 22, 12, 13, 11, Block V., Karioi Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 4th day of May and the 4th day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Adopted 21st August, 1905; confirmed 26th September, 1905.

Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,278, authorised to be raised by the Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of draining, forming, and metalling within the prescribed area, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1⅜d. in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all the rateable property of the Raetihi Special-rating District, comprising Blocks I., II., III., IV., Raetihi Township, Makotuku Survey District—viz., Sections 1 to 19, Block I.; 20 to 42, Block II.; Sections 43 to 62, Block III.; Sections 63 to 82, Block IV.; also Sections 104, 105, 106, 107, Block X., and Sections 227, 228; 229, 230, Block IX., all in the Raetihi Special-rating District, Makotuku Survey District, Block VI.: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 8th day of November and the 8th day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum.

Middle Road Loan.—Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of crowning-up and metalling from the Ohura Road towards the Orautaha Stream (£500), also for bridge over said stream and approaches thereto (£500), the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all the rateable property of the Middle Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 9, 10, 11, part 12, and 8 of Block II.; 5, 6, 8, of Block III.; 1, 2, of Block XIV.; 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, part 4, 15, of Block XV.; and 20 of Block XVI. (part): and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 4th day of April and 4th day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off

I, Peter Brass, Chairman of the Waimarino County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Waimarino County Council held on the 29th day of July, 1905, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Waimarino County Council held on the 30th day of August, 1905.

OPOTIKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Opotiki County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest (at 4 per centum per annum) and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorised to be raised by the Opotiki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the extension of the existing bridge across the Waioeka River and the construction of an embankment from the end of such extension to the western bank of the said Waioeka River, the said Opotiki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Opotiki County as constituted and defined by “The Whakatane County Act, 1899”; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
