Importation of Tincture of Sweet-orange Peel prohibited.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by section sixty-seven of “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882,” and section six of “The Customs Duties Amendment Act, 1900,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and order that the importation into New Zealand of the article hereinafter mentioned is hereby prohibited, that is to say,—
Tincture of sweet-orange peel made according to the standard laid down in any recognised pharmacopoeia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

Native Land in Rotorua Survey District to be taken for a Station for Collection and Distribution of Rainbow Trout Ova.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eleventh day of September, 1905.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work, to wit, the construction of a station for collection and distribution of rainbow trout ova:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners, and the title thereto is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the eighty-eighth section of “The Public Works Act, 1894”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and “The Public Works Act, 1903,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for the purposes of the public work hereinbefore mentioned; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and five.

SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

Granting Land for the Purpose of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” to Gisborne Harbour Board.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of September, 1905.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is land reclaimed from the sea and from a navigable river: And whereas such reclamation has been made by duly authorised works by the Gisborne Harbour Board: And whereas application has been made to His Excellency the Governor to grant to the Gisborne Harbour Board the land so reclaimed as aforesaid: And whereas His Excellency the Governor is satisfied that such land has been reclaimed by the Gisborne Harbour Board, and the reclamation has been fully completed in accordance with the provisions of “The Harbours Act, 1878”:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by section 151 of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby, in the name and on behalf of His Majesty, grant the land described in the Schedule hereto to the Gisborne Harbour Board, to be used by that Board for the purpose of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” and the special Act constituting that Board.


SCHEDULE.

All that area of land in the Poverty Bay Land Registration District, containing by measurement 7 acres 2 roods 19 perches, being known as the Wai-o-hi-harore No. 2x Block, adjoining the Wai-o-hi-harore Block within the Borough of Gisborne; as the said area of land is shown and delineated on the plan thereof, deposited in the Survey Office, at Gisborne, under No. 516, it being therein edged green.

Terms and Conditions of Lease of Village-homestead Allotments in Hawke’s Bay Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of September, 1905.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by the one-hundred-and-sixty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon which the lands in any village settlement shall be disposed of, subject as in the said section is provided: And whereas by a Proclamation made under the said Act on the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and five, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto have
