Land in Block I., Stonyhurst Survey District, taken for a Road-approach to a Railway.

PLUNKET, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and “The Public Works Act, 1903,” for a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road-approach to a railway-station:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinafter specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and “The Public Works Act, 1903,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of a road-approach to a railway-station on the Waipara-Mackenzie Branch of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

Additional Land taken at Edendale Settlement for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land at Edendale Settlement in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.
