Land taken for a Further Portion of the Midland Railway (Remaining Portion of Tadmor Section).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Midland Railway—namely, remaining portion of Tadmor Section:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purpose hereinafter specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

SCHEDULE.

The parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder:—

All in the Land District of Nelson; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 21532, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

ERRATA.—In Schedule to Order in Council dated 29th November, 1904, closing roads in Teviotdale Survey District, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 97, page 2882, of 1904, for “2 acres 0 roods 36 perches” read “1 acre 0 roods 36 perches.”

In First Schedule to Proclamation, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74, page 1916, of 10th August, 1905, taking lands for road in Block II., Waoku Survey District, Hokianga County, for “Section 5A” read “Section 50.”
