THE MIKONUI HYDRAULIC GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Mikonui Hydraulic Gold-dredging Company (Limited) held at the registered office of the company, No. 12, Harbour Chambers, Jetty Street, Dunedin, on Friday, 11th August, 1905, the following resolution was proposed and carried as an extraordinary resolution:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of “The Companies Act, 1903,” and that JAMES WILLIAM FRASER, the secretary of the company, be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE FOR A BRANCH WATER-RACE.
To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Cromwell.
PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1898,” the undersigned, George Redhead, of Kawarau Gorge, Farmer, hereby applies for a license for a branch water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner’s right; 16th January, 1905; No. 47719.
Address for service: Care of A. M. Brodrick, Solicitor, Cromwell.
Dated at Cromwell, this 1st day of August, 1905.
SCHEDULE.
Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Starting at a point in John Fleming’s freehold paddock in water-race held under License No. 1394, 14th August, 1903, in name of John Fleming, George Redhead, and Martin Heaney, about twenty-one miles and a half from the termination of said race, and terminating in leasehold land belonging to Richard George Redhead. (Crosses road between Fleming’s and R. G. Redhead’s land.)
Length and intended course of race: Twenty chains, west to east.
Points of intake: In Water-race No. 1394, 14th August, 1903, in Fleming’s paddock.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Two days; £2.
Mean depth and breadth: 2 ft. deep; 2 ft. wide.
Number of heads to be carried: One-half head.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation purposes.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.
