HIS Excellency the Governor has, under the provisions of “The Maori Lands Administration Act, 1900,” and its amendments, been pleased to appoint

Judges of the Native Land Court, to be Presidents respectively of the Waikato and Waiariki District Maori Land Councils; and

JAMES WAKELIN BROWNE,
GEORGE THOMAS WILKINSON,
THOMAS WILLIAM PORTER,
GILBERT MAIR, and
THOMAS WILLIAM FISHER

to be Presidents respectively of the Tokerau, Maniapoto-Tuwharetoa, Tairawhiti, Ikaroa, and Aotea District Maori Land Councils, and to severally authorise the said James Wakelin Browne, George Thomas Wilkinson, Thomas William Porter, Gilbert Mair, and Thomas William Fisher by virtue of such offices each to possess and exercise all the powers and authorities of a Judge of the Native Land Court or of the Native Appellate Court.

Each of the foregoing appointments to terminate on the 31st day of March, 1906.
