Land taken for a Further Portion of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, from a Point at or near Marton to Te Awamutu, via Murimotu, Taumarunui, and the Ongarue River Valley (Portions of Turangarere and Waiouru Sections), and for Road-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, from a point at or near Marton to Te Awamutu, via Murimotu, Taumarunui, and the Ongarue River Valley—namely, portions of Turangarere and Waiouru Sections, and for road-diversions in connection therewith:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purpose hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and section eleven of “The Public Works Act, 1903,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said railway hereinbefore specified, and for road-diversions as aforesaid.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule here-to are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1894,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a drain in Block XV., Ikitara Survey District:
And whereas the Rangitikei County Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the said drain,
