First.—All that piece of land in the Provincial District of Otago being part of Allotment Thirteen (13), Subdivision of Section Nine (9), Block Seven (VII.), Town District, containing by admeasurement five poles and twenty-eight hundredths (5.28) of a pole, more or less, commencing at the south corner of said Allotment Thirteen (13), bounded on the south-west by Hillside Road, bearing 329 deg. 30 min. 30 sec., eighty-two links and six-tenths (82.6) of a link; on the north-west by Cameron Street, bearing 59 deg. 31 min. 30 sec., forty (40) links; on the north-east by other part of Allotment Thirteen (13), bearing 149 deg. 30 min. 30 sec., eighty-two links and six-tenths (82.6) of a link; and on the south-east by Allotment Twelve (12), Second Subdivision of Township of South Dunedin, bearing 239 deg. 31 min. 30 sec., forty (40) links, to starting-point.

Second.—All that piece of land in the Provincial District of Otago, being part of Allotment One (1), Second Subdivision of Township of South Dunedin, containing by admeasurement three poles and nine one-hundredths (3.09) of a pole, more or less, commencing at the south corner of said Allotment One (1), bounded on the south-west by Hillside Road, bearing 329 deg. 30 min. 30 sec., forty-eight and three-tenths (48.3) links; on the north-west by Allotment Two (2), bearing 59 deg. 31 min. 30 sec., forty (40) links; on the north-east by other part of Allotment One (1), 149 deg. 30 min. 30 sec., forty-eight links and three-tenths (48.3) of a link; and on the south-east by Caledonian Road, 239 deg. 31 min. 30 sec., forty (40) links, to starting-point.

All that piece of land in the Provincial District of Otago, being part of Section Twenty (20), Block Seven (VII.), Town District, containing by admeasurement twenty-five poles and six-tenths (25.6) of a pole, more or less, commencing at the west corner of said Section Twenty (20), bounded on the north-west by Main South Road, on a bearing of 59 deg. 30 min., four hundred (400) links; on the north-east by Alexandra Street, 149 deg. 30 min., forty (40) links; on the south-east by other part of Section Twenty (20), 239 deg. 30 min., four hundred (400) links; on the south-west by Section Twenty-one (21), 329 deg. 30 min., forty (40) links, to starting-point.

All that piece of land in the Provincial District of Otago, being part of Allotment Sixty (60), Township of Calder- ville, containing by admeasurement thirteen poles and seventy-five hundredths (13.75) of a pole, more or less, commencing at the west corner of said Allotment Sixty (60), bounded on the north-west by Allotment Sixty-two (62), on a bearing of 59 deg. 22 min., one hundred and seven (107) links; on the north-east by Allotment Fifty-two (52), and other part of Allotment Sixty (60), 149 deg. 30 min., one hundred and twenty-three links and five-tenths (123.5) of a link; on the south-east by other part of Allotment Sixty (60), (now a road- line), 239 deg. 27 min., thirty-two links and two-tenths (32.2) of a link; and on the south-west by David Street, 298 deg. 13 min., one hundred and forty-four links and four-tenths (144.4) of a link, to starting-point.

SCHOOL FOR DEAF-MUTES, SUMNER, NEAR CHRISTCHURCH.

Under the control and supervision of the Education Department.

Director: Mr. G. VAN ASCH.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The best age for entrance is between six and seven.

The full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.

Parents having dumb children between the ages of four and seven, and other persons desiring information with regard to the school, are invited to apply to
