THE EMPIRE GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that a General Meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company, Ross Place, Lawrence, on Wednesday, 30th August, 1905, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, shall be disposed of.

THE CHAMPION GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of this company, duly convened, and held at the registered office of the company, Ross Place, Lawrence, on the 20th day of July, 1905, the following extraordinary resolution was passed: “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.” Richard Pilling, Jun., of Lawrence, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 53, folio 244, in favour of ALEXANDER MACLEOD, of Hikurangi, Settler, for the south-western portion of Allotment 4A, Parish of Hikurangi, having been lodged with me, and application made to issue a provisional certificate of title, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue a provisional certificate of title accordingly after the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
