Inspector of Stock, &c., appointed—Notice No. 974.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

FRANK WILLIAM SUTTON

to be an Inspector of Stock in terms of “The Civil Service Reform Act, 1886,” an Inspector under “The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1882,” an Inspector of Stock and Agent to sue for rates in terms of “The Stock Act, 1893,” and an Inspector under and for the purposes of “The Noxious Weeds Act, 1900”; the appointments to date from the 1st July, 1905.

Person to hold Licenses, &c., in connection with Waimea-Kumara Water-race appointed.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred by “The Public Works Act, 1894,” His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

JAMES ROCHFORD

to be the person to apply for, receive, and hold, on behalf of His Majesty the King, any license or other authority required to be held or exercised in respect to the Waimea-Kumara Water-race and the several works connected therewith held under any Mining Act or any regulations made thereunder in the Counties of Westland and Grey, as from the 1st day of July, 1905.
