Portion of the area of the said abolished district is
hereby constituted a new district to be called “the Wai-
kouaiti District,” and to consist of the Hawkesbury and
Merton Ridings of the County of Waikouaiti. -
The residue of the area of the said abolished district—
to wit, the Blueskin and North-east Valley Ridings of the
said county—shall be deemed to be included in the Dunedin
District, the boundaries whereof are hereby extended so as
to include the said Ridings of Blueskin and North-east
Valley. -
The person for the time being holding the office of
Clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Waikouaiti shall be the
Deputy Registrar for the Waikouaiti District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this eleventh day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and five.

Reserve in the Town of Kaikoura, Marlborough Land Dis-
trict, changed from a Site for Government Building to a
Site for a Public School.
PLUNKET, Governor.
I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Con-
tracts Act, 1880,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby change
the purpose of the land described in the Schedule hereto
from a site for Government building to a site for a public
school.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 24 perches, more or
less, being Sections Nos. 3, 5, 7, and 9 (formerly portion of a
reserve, containing 4 acres 1 rood, and being Sections Nos. 1
to 9 inclusive), Town of Kaikoura. Bounded towards the
north-west by Killarney Road; towards the north-east by
Beach Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 11,
Town of Kaikoura; and towards the south-west by Sections
Nos. 8, 6, 4, and 2 of the said town: as the same is deli-
neated on the plan marked S.G. 53442, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellin-
ton, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered
red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and five.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JAMES STEWART
to be a Trustee, in the place of Edward Acton, deceased,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Pleasant
Point Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other per-
sons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twelfth day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and five.

teries Act, 1882.” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby ap-
point the local authority specified in the first column of
the Schedule hereto to have the control and management
of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the
said Schedule.
