any Land Board, may be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time :

And whereas it is necessary to amend a Proclamation issued under the said Act taking land for a road in Blocks II. and III., Aohanga, and IX., Mount Cerberus, Survey Districts, Akitio County, dated the sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, page 2225, of the ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two, because some of the land taken for a road therein is incorrectly described as to area and position :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by substituting the area and description of certain lands shown in the First Schedule hereto for the area and description of the same lands as shown in the said Proclamation and as described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

Extending Time for Preparation of District Electors Roll of City of Wellington.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of March, 1905.

Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that certain things required to be done by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” in connection with the making and revision of the district electors roll of City of Wellington cannot be done by or within the time required by the said Act :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the times for the doing of the several acts and things set forth in the Schedule hereto, and required to be done in connection with the district electors roll of the said City of Wellington, and doth hereby declare that the times for the doing of such several acts and things shall be those which are specified in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

  1. District electors list to be made out on or before the 25th March, 1905.
  2. District electors list open for inspection until the 31st March, 1905.
  3. Delivery of objections to district electors list until the 5th April, 1905.
  4. Inspection of lists of objections to the 8th April, 1905.
  5. Sitting of Council to determine claims and objections, 10th April, 1905.
  6. District electors roll to come into force on the 11th April, 1905.

Notifying Village-settlement Lands in Southland Land District under “The Bush and Swamp Crown Lands Settlement Act, 1903.”

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Bush and Swamp Crown Lands Settlement Act, 1903,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of section two of the said Act, the said lands having previously been set apart for lease as village settlements under “The Land Act, 1892”; and I do further declare that for the purposes of “The Bush and Swamp Crown Lands Settlement Act, 1903,” the lands in the said Schedule shall be deemed to be “light-bush land.”

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland Land District described in the
