A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners and mortgagees of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Mareretu Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands in Matakoe Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first hereinbefore proclaimed.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Stratford-Wangamomona Branch of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway to take further land in the Ngaiere Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
