Block, and part of Ngapuki Block, Block IX., Huangarua Survey District, as the said parcel of land is delineated on Plan 8/15, S.O. 23776, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red, bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-western junction with the Featherston-Martinborough Road of a new road laid off or intended to be laid off by the respondent and marked on the said plan “Ferry Road; thence north-west along the said Featherston-Martinborough Road 675·1 links on a bearing of 310° 31′; thence north-west along the said road 650·3 links on a bearing of 340° 40′; thence south-west 1430·8 links on a bearing of 234° 8′ to the middle line of the Horseshoe Lagoon; thence commencing in a westerly direction along the middle of the said Horseshoe Lagoon for the following distances and on the following bearings—82 links bearing 292° 18′, 549·2 links bearing 285° 42′, 1850·7 links bearing 276° 44′, 290 links bearing 274°, 585 links bearing 269°, 210 links bearing 246° 45′, 508 links bearing 233° 43′, 400 links bearing 221° 15′, 432 links bearing 211°, 455 links bearing 200° 45′, 290 links bearing 186° 45′, 310 links bearing 166°, 561·9 links bearing 158°, 475 links bearing 143° 30′, 593·6 links bearing 129° 45′, 185 links bearing 161° 30′, 168 links bearing 113° 30′, 285·4 links bearing 128° 49′; thence south-west 146·4 links on a bearing of 224° 37′; thence south-east 59·6 links on a bearing of 135° 4′; again south-east 910·8 links on a bearing of 146° 49′; again south-east 29·8 links on a bearing of 150° 15′; again south-east 1463·8 links on a bearing of 159° 10′ to the middle line of the main drain running from the Horseshoe Lagoon to the Ruamahanga River, as shown on the said plan; thence north-east along the middle line of the said drain 503·5 links on a bearing of 54° 22′, and 465·8 links on a bearing of 42°; thence north-west along the middle of the said drain 110 links on a bearing of 326° 25′; thence north-east 2023·3 links on a bearing of 70° 31′ 45″, and 109 links on a bearing 69° 59′ to the western side of the said Ferry Road; thence along the western side of the said Ferry Road 1197·3 links on a bearing of 35° 28′, 1668·9 links on a bearing of 13° 56′, 1158·8 links on a bearing of 7° 26′, and 267·2 links on a bearing of 21° 19′ to the point of commencement.
