Second-class Surveyed Heavy-bush Land.

TAURANGA COUNTY.—MAKETU SURVEY DISTRICT.

Broken land; good soil; nearly all covered with mixed
forest, comprising tawa, rata, rimu, and pukatea; land well
watered; access by formed cart-road. About eight miles
from Te Puke.

TAURANGA COUNTY.—OTANEWAINUKU SURVEY DISTRICT.

Altitude, 1,100 ft. above sea-level, and comprises undu-
lating and level land, covered with mixed forest, mostly
tawa, with a few rimu; good grass land; light soil, and
well watered by small streams. Situated about eighteen
miles from Tauranga.

KAWHIA COUNTY.—KAWHIA SOUTH SURVEY DISTRICT.

Altitude, from 400 ft. to 800 ft. above sea-level; broken
pastoral land covered with mixed forest; soil fair. Situated
about ten miles from Kawhia Harbour by graded road.
