NOTE.—A very fine, dry month, which was at frequent
intervals marked by heavy winds, chiefly from the north-
west. The maximum rainfall, 0·41, was registered on the
9th. Prevailing wind, N.W. Maximum temperature in
shade, 78·7°; minimum, 48·5°. Mean temperature of dew-
point, 51·9°; mean humidity, 67.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
GISBORNE DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the
proprietors of the undermentioned blocks will be held
at the Native Land Court House, at Gisborne, on Thursday,
the 18th day of February, 1904, at the time set opposite each
block, for the purpose of nominating members of committee
to fill vacancies in the said committees owing to a sufficient
number of members not having been nominated.
Written nominations must be lodged with the Registrar,
Gisborne, at least fourteen days before the time appointed
for the meeting.
