Notifying Lands in Southland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and four, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands respectively.

Animals Protection Acts: Declaring Reserve for Native and Imported Game, Lake Kanieri.

RANFURLY, Governor.

PURSUANT to the powers conferred upon him by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand doth hereby notify that native game and imported game shall not be taken or killed within that portion of the Westland Land District more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAKE KANIERI.

That lake known as Lake Kanieri, situated in the Kanieri Survey District, Westland Land District, together with the area contained within a line running parallel to and 40 chains distant from the shore of the said lake; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office at Hokitika.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and four.
