The Government reserves the right to refuse to issue tickets to any person or persons. The Government Balneologist shall determine to whom tickets shall not be issued.

Every person using or passing through the grounds subject to these regulations, or any part thereof, shall conform to and abide by such regulations; and in case any person shall, while using or passing through any of the grounds, commit any indecency or a breach of the peace, or be guilty of any disorderly conduct, he shall be liable as for a breach of these regulations.

For the purpose hereof the Superintendent shall have charge of gardens, grounds, enclosures, paths, and the premises pertaining thereto; and as regards any part of the ground subject to these regulations the gardener or other person in charge thereof at the time shall have authority to carry out these regulations.

Except where otherwise specially provided, every person committing a breach of or failing to observe the provisions of these regulations shall be liable on conviction to a penalty not exceeding £5.

The term “Superintendent” where mentioned in these regulations shall mean the person for the time being holding the office of Superintendent of the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts, or such person as shall be duly authorised to act for him.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
Fees and charges for residence and treatment in the Sanatorium, for medical consultation, for baths, for games, and for mineral drinking-waters, shall be as follows:—

Children’s tickets shall be issued only to children whose individual ages do not exceed twelve years.
Commutation tickets shall have a currency of four months from date of issue.
A “resident”—who shall be deemed to be any person who shall have signed a declaration before the Resident Medical Officer, a Justice of the Peace, or the Postmaster, truly setting forth that he or she has resided for a period of at least six months within a radius of five miles from the Rotorua Post-office—shall be entitled to receive tickets at rates specified for “residents.” For the purposes hereof, the head of any household may sign one declaration for the whole of the inmates of such household, providing the name of each person the declaration applies to is appended to the said declaration. Each resident’s family commutation ticket shall be available for the use of members of one household only.
Except where otherwise provided, one towel will be supplied free for the use of each bather using a bath, but a charge of 2d. will be made for each additional towel supplied, except in the case of Aix massage douche and double Aix massage douche, when towels and all other material are provided free of charge.
The charges for players’ tickets shall be—For bowls, single game, 6d. for each game; for tennis, 3d. for each set; for croquet, 3d. for each game: for bowls, season ticket, 10s. 6d.; for tennis, season ticket, 10s. 6d.; for croquet, season ticket, 10s. 6d.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2,610 acres, more or less, situated in Taranwera Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Lake Rotorua; towards the east generally by that lake, the Puarenga Stream, the Rotorua–Maketu Road, and the north-eastern boundary of Whakarewarewa State Forest; towards the south generally by the Moerangi and Tihoitonga Blocks; and towards the west generally by Sections Nos. 65, 64, 63, Suburbs of Rotorua, the road forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 62, and by Sections Nos. 33 and 31 to Fenton Street, and thence by that street, the railway-line, and the Utuhina Stream to Lake Rotorua.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.
