Increasing the Holding-area of Land to Settlers in the Mangaweka North Village Settlement, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of August, 1904.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued on the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and one, under the authority of the one-hundred-and-sixty-ninth section of "The Land Act, 1892," fixing the terms and conditions upon which lands in Mangaweka North Village Settlement should be disposed of, it was provided that no lessee should hold more than one allotment in the said village settlement:
And whereas it is expedient to allow one person to hold two allotments in the Mangaweka North Village Settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance of all powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby amend the Order in Council aforesaid so far as it affects the number of allotments that may be held in the Mangaweka North Village Settlement, and doth by this present Order declare that on and after the date hereof any settler may apply for and acquire two allotments therein; and it is hereby further declared that all the provisions of the Order in Council of the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and one, aforesaid, shall apply to the Mangaweka North Village Settlement, except as regards the number of allotments that may be held.

Revoking Regulations under "The Sea-fisheries Act, 1894."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of August, 1904.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS certain regulations as to size of mesh of nets used for taking fish in tidal waters were made by Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 14, of the eighteenth day of the same month: And whereas it is desirable that such regulations should be revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by "The Sea-fisheries Act, 1894," and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke and determine the said Order in Council of the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and four, and the regulations made thereby.

Trustees for the Lyttelton Public Cemetery appointed.

N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
The Rev. WILLIAM LEE and ROBERT HATCHWELL
to be Trustees, in the place of the Rev. Archibald Treadwell and the Rev. David MacNicoll, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Lyttelton Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and four.

to be a Trustee, in the place of Charles Arnold Jones, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waipuku Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and four.

Notifying Lands in Southland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of "The Land Act, 1892," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and four, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands respectively.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II. of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from "public utility" to "municipal buildings."
