WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 5 3/5 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 728, 729, 730, 731, 732, 733, 734, and 735, Town of Reefton. Bounded towards the north-east by a right-of-way, Town of Reefton; towards the south-east by Section No. 727, Town of Reefton; towards the south-west by Victory Street, Town of Reefton; and towards the north-west by Caples Street of the said town: exclusive of a drain reserve, 25 links wide, which intersects the above-described boundaries: be the aforesaid linkage more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 52424a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
