Land taken for a Road in Block VI., Halswell Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the Tai Tapu Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land in the Halswell Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

SCHEDULE.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above noted, deposited in the District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Christchurch, in the Canterbury Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this ninth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the lessee of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Waimate County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land in the Elephant Hill Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

SCHEDULE.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above noted, deposited in the District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Christchurch, in the Canterbury Land District.

Additional Land at Petone taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Petone in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-eight and one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcels of land mentioned hereunder :—

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked 12677 and 12781, deposited in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, brown, green, and blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.
