Land temporarily reserved in the Otago Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section
of "The Land Act, 1892," it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or part-
cular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that
the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of
the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale
the land in the Otago Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said
Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land
so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 roods 28/10 perches, more or less, being
Sections Nos. 24 and 25, Block XXV., Town of Clinton.
Bounded towards the north-east by Tapanui Road ; to-
wards the south-east by Section No. 21A of Block XXV.,
Town of Clinton; towards the south-west by Section No. 22
of said Block XXV.; and towards the north-west by
Section No. 23 of Block XXV. aforesaid : as the same is
delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51659B, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
lington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bor-
dered red. For post and telegraph purposes.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and four.

Bounded towards the north by Richardson Street ; towards
the east by Black Street ; towards the south by Sections
Nos. 5 and 6 of Block I., Town of Otara; and towards the
west by Sinclair Street : as the same is delineated on the
plan marked S.G. 52373, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For
a site for a public school.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and four.

being Section No. 2, Block VII., Township of Mackaytown.
Bounded towards the north by Section No. 1, Block VII.,
Township of Mackaytown; towards the east by the main
road; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards
the west by the Ohinemuri River : as the same is delineated
on the plan marked S.G. 44407, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
For a recreation reserve.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine

No. 13, Block XV., Ngamatea Survey District. Bounded
towards the north by Section No. 12, Block XV., Ngamatea
Survey District; towards the east by a reserve for scenic
purposes along the right bank of the Wangaehu River;
towards the south by Section No. 2, Block III., Manga-
whero Survey District; and towards the west by Rurutahi
Road and Stock Road: as the same is delineated on the
plan marked S.G. 52390, deposited in the Head Office, De-
partment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered purple.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and four.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve in the
Marlborough Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is,
amongst other things, enacted that the Governor
may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication
of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty
or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II.
of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted
or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part
thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it
was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by
notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change,
and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which
the same is intended to be so made:
