Special Order made by the Council of the County of Kairanga.

THE following special order, made by the Kairanga County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, at £4 per centum per annum, and other charges on the sum of £900, being the Kairanga County Council’s portion of a joint loan of £1,700, under section 14 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” with the Pahiatua County Council, for the purpose of clearing, forming, and metalling the Range Road from a point 1 chain east of the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block II., Mangahao, to a point 1 chain west of the western boundary of Section 12, Block XIX., Mangahao, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Range Road Special-rating District, comprising the following—Sections 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8 of Block II., Mangahao Survey District; Sections 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Block XIX., Mangahao Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. And the Kairanga County Council also pledges as security for the payment of interest on the said loan all deferred “thirds” accrued and to accrue on the said sections. Cost of raising loan to be paid out of loan.

I certify that the above special order was made at a special meeting of the Kairanga County Council on the 7th May, 1904, and was confirmed at a special meeting of the Council on the 4th June, 1904.

THE following special order, made by the Waimate Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

SPECIAL ORDER PASSED BY THE WAIMATE ROAD BOARD ON THE 14TH JUNE, 1904.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waimate Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, authorised to be raised by the Waimate Road Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the unmetalled portions of the Glenn Road within the southern subdivision of the Waimate Road District, the said Waimate Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5/16 d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Glenn Road No. 2 Loan Special-rating District, comprising Sections 34 to 39 (all inclusive), Subsections 1 and 2 of Section 40, and Sections 5, 6, and 7 of Block II., the eastern portion of Section 56 (25 acres), and the western portion of Section 57 (21 acres 2 roods 20 perches) of Block VI., all in the Waimate Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I certify that the above special order was duly made in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

THE following special order, made by the Eketa huna County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Eketa huna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing for the interest and other charges on a loan of £150, authorised to be raised by the Eketa huna County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling about 25 chains of the Central Mangaone Road east from its junction with the Tawataia Road, extending in a westerly direction, the said Eketa huna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-one eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Central Mangaone Road East Special-rating District, comprising the southern half of Section 27, the northern half of Section 40, and the eastern part (100 acres) of Section 39, all of Block VII., Mangaone Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, at 4 per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off. The cost of raising the loan, and the interest for the first year, to be paid out of the loan.

The common seal of Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eketa huna was hereunto affixed this 11th day of June, 1904, by the Chairman of the Eketa huna County Council.
